Procopio Companies Office Move Facilitates Explosive Growth

The Procopio Companies (Procopio), a fourth-generation, full-service real estate development and construction management firm announced its move from Lynnfield, MA to a new office space in Middleton, MA. After 2 years in Lynnfield, the new, larger office, located at 35 Village Road, will accommodate the exponential growth Procopio has sustained in the past year.

The 10,000 square foot office is more than double the size of Procopio’s previous headquarters. The need for a new and improved space was driven by the company’s 31% internal growth in 2021, an impact of the company’s unprecedented growth and strength in the multifamily market, since repositioning development in 2017.

The new office space allows for increased team cohesion and collaboration. The previous space was made up of two separate units, whereas the new office is one unit, creating a stronger culture and sense of community for the whole team. Additionally, the new space caters well to Procopio’s monthly group trainings. These group trainings allow employees to gain deeper insight on trends, challenges, and nuances of the industry while building stronger connections with their corporate and on-site colleagues. The new, expansive office is the perfect background for group learning.

One such team member who has worked with the company for generations is Kathleen Nolan, who recently retired in 2022 after having been with the company since 2003. Kathleen, an office go-to who immensely impacted the company throughout her 18 years of work, is one of two team members to work with all three generations of Procopios.

Procopio’s growth in 2021 included 1,021,000 square feet of active construction and $596,240,000 under development. Procopio’s completed developments welcomed 514 new residents to various properties, while the team and affiliated project partners celebrated 11 awards in 2021, including one Hatch, seven Prisms, two ENR Best Projects, and one LEED Platinum certified project.
