Progress at The Clara on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue
Progress is ongoing at The Clara on Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, as the team celebrates one year since closing on the financing for the project.
The 81-unit housing and retail project will create an active and vibrant retail and residential community and serve to further the redevelopment of this corridor of Southeast Washington, DC.
The project will feature studio, 1 bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom apartments, along with 11,000 sq.ft. of ground floor retail space and underground parking.
The property is located less than a mile from the Washington DC line and one block from the Anacostia Metro Station
In a statement from the company, they thanked Mayor Muriel Bowser, ANC 8A, DC DHCD, DCHFA, DCHA, DMPED, Wells Fargo Bank, City First Bank, Hamel Builders, DP Partners, Dantes Partners and The Collective for their work on the project and helping to make this project a reality.
