Proposal Submitted for Engine Company 12 Fire Station Redevelopment
Rift Valley Capital has submitted a proposal to rebuild the Engine Company 12 fire station into 136+ units above a new fire station that would ensure continuous operation. Last Fall, the 30,574 square foot parcel at 2225 5th Street NE & 513 Rhode Island Avenue NE was the the subject of a request for proposals (RFP) to develop the site. The submission was designed by Cunningham Quill, and would feature at least 40 affordable income units. The proposal also shows a curb-less shared street with neighboring developments.
More Proposals are expected for the site.
