Public Plazas and Green Space In Planning for Under-Review Dorchester Bay City
has revised plans for Dorchester Bay City to include more public plazas and bayside green spaces, among other amenities. Spanning 5.9 million SF of space, the project would include 17 development blocks, 10 on the Bayside portion of the site, and 7 on the 2 Morrissey Boulevard site. The buildings would include approximately 1,740 residential units, approximately 155,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space, and approximately 4 million square feet of office, research and development, life sciences, and/or academic uses.
