PUD Modification Filed for Friendship Center Redevelopment
Federal Realty has filed an application for a modification to the Planned Unit Development (“PUD”) and a related Zoning Map Amendment for the redevelopment of the property at 5333 Wisconsin Ave NW. Plans call for a mixed-use project consisting of approximately 310 residential units and approximately 12,000 square feet of ground-floor retail use. The project will retain the existing below-grade parking structure and the majority of the ground-floor slab, which will mitigate the overall carbon footprint of the project.
