Related Beal Reveals Updates to 244-284 A Street Proposal, More Public Space with Harborwalk Activation
Related Beal has updated their ground-floor use plans for 244-284 A Street, adding additional public space as well as plans for activating the harborwalk along the new building.
Plans call for additional space to Fort Point Park, widening the park between A Street and the Fort Point Channel. Renderings for the channel have also been released, showing space for activating the harborwalk and harbor flooding mitigation.
Related Beal plans a mixed-use development totaling approximately 1.1 million square feet including a 366,100 SF residential building, an office building of approximately 332,192 square feet, and a laboratory/research and development building of approximately 400,000 square feet. The buildings are designed to have a complementary character to surrounding Fort Point.
