Renderings revealed of 60%-sold The Lydon luxury residences in Back Bay


New renderings have been revealed of The Lydon, a luxurious five-unit condominium development under construction in the Back Bay set within a beautifully-restored historic building. Each residence at The Lydon will be appointed with finishes of the highest quality, with conveniences including daytime concierge service, automatic valet parking and direct elevator access. The latest renderings of The Lydon are posted above.


Three residences at The Lydon are under agreement, including the building’s 6,430-square-foot four-bedroom/five-bathroom penthouse, topped off with a private 3,000-square-foot roof deck, listed for $14.2 million as well as a 905-square-foot one-bedroom/one-bathroom listed for $1 million and a 410-square-foot one-bedroom/one-bathroom listed for $600,000. Remaining available residences include a 5,750-square-foot four-bedroom/4.5-bathroom listed for $13 million and a 2,850-square-foot three-bedroom/2.5-bathroom listed for $6.6 million; the building is 60%-sold.


Developer Georgantas Design + Development acquired the 21,238-square-foot The Lydon building, located at 401 Beacon Street, in October 2016 for $15 million, over $706 per square foot. Brookline Bank provided $18.4 million of financing towards Georgantas' acquisition.
