Reno & Addition Under Review for Union Square Building
Plans are under review for a renovation and addition to the existing single store commercial building at 71-72 Union Square. The renovated building would include retail space on the 1st floor and basement levels with community/education/meeting space on the 2nd floor, and offices on the 3rd floor. In November 2019, Somerville's Licensing Commission board approved a license for a recreational marijuana shop, Union Leaf, for this location.
