Renovations Continue at The Historic Landmark, The Langham, Boston
The revamp of the historic landmark, The Langham, Boston in downtown continues. The large-scale renovation encompasses all areas of the hotel which was originally built in 1922 and first served as the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. The project, which began this past spring, includes a complete redesign of the guest rooms, a new Club Lounge, two Food & Beverage dining outlets, and enhanced function rooms. In addition, the project will include exterior canopy, awning, and lighting upgrades. Construction Risk Partners supported the project on behalf of Shawmut Design and Construction and procured a project-specific wrap-up insurance program covering the contractors working on site. Here’s a look at what the newly refreshed spaces will look like when the hotel reopens later this year.
