Renovations Underway for Manhattan Life Sciences Lab
An 8-story building at 125 West End Avenue is currently undergoing a major renovation. Developer, Taconic Investment Partners is turning the 400,000 sqft. building into a state-of-the-art life sciences and research laboratory. The architect for the project is Perkins & Will, and the general contractor in charge of its construction is JRM Construction Management.
Taconic purchased the building back in 2019 for $230 million. Renovations will add a sleek new facade, lab infrastructure, mechanical rooms, a roof deck terrace, and a conference facility. Work is expected to complete sometime in 2023.
