Residential Development Planned in Wicker Park
A residential development has been revealed for 1501 N. Oakley to replace a large sports field behind Josephinum Academy on W Le Moyne Street. While the timeline is still unclear and the developer is under contract to purchase the property, the plan involves subdividing the site into four lots, each with a three-story building containing seven units, for a total of 28 residences. The buildings would share a central driveway with 32 parking spaces in the rear. Since the site is zoned for 40 units, no additional city approval is required.
