Residential Tower Nearly Finished in Greenpoint
One of the latest towers being constructed as part of Brooklyn's Greenpoint Landing development is quickly nearing completion. Progress on the 31-story tower, known as 1 Bell Slip, has reached a significant milestone. From the outside, Handel Architects' vision is on full display, and the structure no longer resembles an active construction site. Facade work from the looks of things is 99% complete, save for a few trim pieces here and there, and the focus has now shifted towards finishing up the interior. Project developers, Brookfield Properties, and Park Tower Group are planning to fill the 379,803 square-foot tower with 413 residential units. Amenities will be plentiful for residents with a 20,700 sqft pool deck, co-working space, fitness studios, kid’s playroom, dog washroom, and two roof terraces with gorgeous views of the Manhattan skyline. Construction will likely complete at 1 Bell Slip either before the end of the year or in the first quarter of 2022.
