Residential Tower Trades for $190M in Downtown Brooklyn

A 36-story mixed-use tower, located at 80 Dekalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn has just been sold for $190M. Known as "DKLB BKLN", it was jointly purchased by KKR and Dulan Management from the previous owner (and developer), Brookfield Properties, in a deal brokered by JLL.

Originally constructed in 2010, the tower contains residential units. There are also 5 commercial retail units, totalling  on the ground floor.

Tenant amenities include a sundeck, a state-of-the-art fitness center with a yoga studio, a lounge, a recreational room with a pool table, and entertaining areas throughout the building. There is also a large enclosed parking garage in the cellar.

DKLB BKLN stands feet tall and totals square feet. The tower is located in a very active and desirable area of Brooklyn, with Long Island University's Brooklyn campus sitting just across the street, and both Fort Green Park, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music situated within walking distance.
