Retail Space Taking Shape While Foundation Work Is Underway for Residential Building at Woburn Village
New signage is in place and parts of the retail component at Woburn Village are taking shape including space for HomeSense & Shake Shack. The redevelopment of the 23-acre mall site will include around 175,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space plus a new movie theater. At the rear of the site, foundation work is also underway for the residential component of the project, Avalon Woburn. There will be 350 apartments in total, ranging in size from 1 through 3 bedrooms. Amenities will include a fitness center, clubroom, co-working space, and pool.
