Retail to Resi Re-Zoning Approved at The Mabel
The Chicago City Council has approved rezoning for The Mabel at 5920 N. Ridge Avenue to allow for the conversion of vacant retail space into new apartments. Per plans, the retail space will be transformed into 17 residential units with an outdoor courtyard. A portion of retail space will remain at the corner of the building and current retail tenant B&W Gym will see a remodeled entrance as part of the project.
