The Loop at Mattapan Station Update 04/25/23

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Today for The Loop at Mattapan Station

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll will join Preservation of Affordable Housing  (POAH), Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation, residents, funders, and partners to celebrate the Grand Opening of The Loop at Mattapan Station and its first retail tenant - the Daily Table. The City of Boston, POAH, and Nuestra collaborated to develop the Loop at Mattapan Station on an underutilized vacant MBTA parking lot adjacent to the Mattapan trolley line station.

The new transit-oriented housing is affordable to a range of incomes and offers shared amenities such as a gym, community rooms, roof deck, bike room, E-bike station and wifi/broadband access. The Daily Table is a nonprofit grocery store that aims to provide nutritious food at affordable prices.
