Roadside Development Acquires Downtown Silver Spring Diner Site
Roadside Development has acquired the property at 8711 Ramsey Ave. in downtown Silver Spring. The site is home to the famous Tastee Diner which has now closed. Roadside also owns the neighboring property at 8676 Georgia Ave, with the lots featuring roughly 30,000 square feet of land. Roadside is now planning a mixed-use project on the site and according to a press release from Gene Wilkes, the Tastee Diner owner "the original dining car will be incorporated into the new design.”
