Robins & Morton Breaks Ground on Medical Office Building in Panama City Beach

Construction firm Robins & Morton, The St. Joe Company, Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, and Florida State University celebrated the groundbreaking of a new medical office building in Panama City Beach on Jan. 17.

The facility will be a four-story, 80,000-square-foot medical office building with space for clinical outpatient care on the first floor; medical practices throughout; an ambulatory care center on the fourth floor; and operating rooms on the third and fourth floors. It is part of a new healthcare campus in Panama City Beach, developed by The St. Joe Company and Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.

There are also plans for the facility to serve in a teaching and research capacity through a partnership with Florida State University.

“It’s a privilege to build this premier facility on the new healthcare campus for The St. Joe Company, Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, and Florida State University,” Robins & Morton Operations Manager Angel Colon said. “Increasing access to immediate care in the Panama City area will have a real and lasting impact on this community.”

Construction is expected to complete in summer 2024.
