Rooftop office addition tops off at Stillings Garage in Fort Point, concrete floor construction underway
The steel frame of the two-story rooftop addition to the Stillings Street parking garage in Fort Point has been fully erected, with the final steel beam now installed. Steel decking is nearly fully installed at the bases of the addition's two office levels and roof, as well as the base of the addition's mechanical penthouse. Concrete will be poured atop the decking in the coming weeks in order to construct the addition's floors. Floor construction will be followed by installation of exterior finish panels along the addition's facade. The Stillings Garage Expansion Project will expand rentable office space at the Stillings Street parking garage to 109,807 square feet from 55,095 and convert a section of the building's ground floor along Boston Wharf Road into 3,000 square feet of retail.
