Rosslyn Hotel Implosion Makes Way for 730K SF Mixed-Use Project
A Holiday Inn, originally built in 1972, was imploded on Sunday morning to make way for an approved mixed-use project in the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington. Developer, Dittmar Company plans a 2 tower mixed-use project set to include around 327 hotel rooms, 490 residential units, and 13,465 square feet of retail space. In October, the developer adjusted plans for the project to decrease the number of hotel rooms and add residential units. Construction will begin with the residential tower once the site is clear.
