Seafood processing complex and public market proposed in Seaport District
Pilot Development Partners proposes to construct a seafood industry-dedicated development in the Seaport District’s Raymond L. Flynn Marine Park overlooking Boston Harbor. Located on Massport Marine Terminal (MMT) Parcel 6 at the intersection of Fid Kennedy Avenue and Tide Street, the development would feature a 220,000-square-foot seafood processing facility for two to three expanding seafood companies, including Boston Sword & Tuna. A 300-car mixed-use parking structure would be constructed on site with a public seafood market and seafood industry multi-tenant space on its’ ground floor. Pilot has filed a Letter of Intent (LOI) formally proposing the project with the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA), who is now reviewing the proposed plans.
