Shaquille O'Neal's Plans to Open Six New Big Chicken Restaurants in Chicago Area
NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal's fast-casual chicken chain plans to open six new restaurants in the Chicago area. Founded in 2018, Big Chicken offers a menu featuring chicken dishes, especially chicken sandwiches and other various comfort foods. Shaq's first Chicago area Big Chicken location opened in Rosemont in 2022, followed by concession stands at Wintrust Arena in the South Loop and SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview. Another planned location in Arlington Heights is expected to open in 2025.
