Site Cleared for 27-Unit Apartment Building in Dorchester
Initial site work has commenced on 185 Geneva Street in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood, clearing the way for construction to begin on the project. Plans call for a five-story building featuring 27 apartment residences, including 9 studios, 12 one bedrooms, 5 two bedrooms, and 1 three-bedroom. Four residences would be designated affordable. Amenities would include a community room, open green space, a bicycle storage room, and eight on-site garage parking spaces.
The approved development will replace a one-family house located next to the newly built Four Corners/Geneva MBTA commuter rail station, with direct transit service to Downtown Boston.
