Six-Building, 400+ Unit Project Proposed in East Boston
A Boston-based developer has filed plans for a six-building, 426 unit project on 5 lots along Bremen, Maverick, and Orleans Streets in East Boston. The project will also include 4,330 square feet of ground-floor retail/restaurant/office space, and parking for approximately 172 vehicles. 70 units within the development will be affordable to households who earn between 30% and 60% AMI, and they will be oriented towards families, with a large proportion of two and three-bedroom units. The development team hopes to begin construction in the 3rd quarter fo 2022.
