South Coast Improvement, Co. Completes Project at Concord Academy
South Coast Improvement Company (SCI), a design-build general contractor serving New England and the Mid-Atlantic states, recently completed a renovation project at Concord Academy. Located at 166 Main Street in Concord, Mass., Concord Academy is a coeducational, independent, college preparatory school for grades nine through 12 with a population of nearly 400 boarding and day students.
South Coast Improvement Company completed an upgrade of three existing common space areas in the school’s dormitory buildings. The project included new custom millwork kitchens, full bathroom upgrades, carpeting, paint and an entertainment system. Additionally, the renovation required an upgrade power distribution in order to accept new power load.
The Marion, Mass.-based company began work on the $489,000 project in June 2018 and wrapped up in August.
