South Coast makes big improvements at Atria Stamford

Atria Stamford has partnered with South Coast Improvement Company for a $12 million expansion and renovation to the property, including the conversion of an entire floor for a dedicated memory care unit. This unit includes 14 private studio apartments, common area dining, and activity space. 

The redevelopment of the main lobby and mezzanine levels where resident services/programming/activities are located. The modernization of 2 elevator cabs performed on an accelerated schedule. Also, the creation of two luxury penthouse apartments featuring high end/luxury finishing and fixtures. The penthouse apartment development features two solarium additions with ADA private decks. All with breathtaking views of Stamford and Fairfield County. 

Additionally, all resident floors received new carpet, paint, light fixtures, ACT ceilings and running trim.

The construction on the exterior of the building features a complete coating of the masonry facade. All new steel railings on three vertical stacks of balconies. While one vertical stack of existing decks have been converted into glass enclosure additions to the apartments featuring all new finishes, new heat / ac, and lighting.

Lastly running congruent to be the redevelopment of the space, South Coast Improvement has renovated over 130 apartments throughout featuring new bathroom fixtures, new waterproofing, and tile showers. new kitchen, appliances, carpet, and paint.
