Special Permits Proposed for Midtown Office Development
Aptly named, 415 Madison Avenue LLC is proposing special permits for a building at 415 Madison Avenue in the East Midtown section of Manhattan. They are seeking permits in order to facilitate the redevelopment of an existing commercial building on the site. Exact plans are still up in the air, but the proposal calls for the building to be torn down in order to pave way for a 40-story, 287,180 square-foot tower. This would make it the latest new development conceived as part of the Greater East Midtown rezoning plan.
