Spring Groundbreaking on Tap for Sports and Entertainment District in Downtown Orlando

 

 

Orlando Appearance Review Board has given the green light to the design of Westcourt Orlando, a planned $500 million, 900,000 square foot sports and entertainment district in downtown Orlando. The developers are aiming for a Spring 2025 groundbreaking. The mixed-use development located across from the Kia Center, will feature high-rise residences, a full-service hotel, office and meeting spaces, retail shops, a dynamic live events venue, and on-site parking. The 260-key luxury Kimpton Hotel will include 16,000 square feet of indoor meeting and conference space. The residential component will offer 270 units located above the hotel. The Live Nation event venue will have a capacity of 3,500. In addition, Westcourt will include 200,000-300,000 square feet of Class A office space and 125,000 square feet of retail space along with 1,140 parking spaces. The groundbreaking is expected in Spring 2025 with completion in early 2027.
