St. Pete Beach Hotel Re-Opens Following Renovations

The Hotel Zamora in St. Pete Beach has re-opened following the completion of a $7.5-million renovation. Sherman Associates purchased the hotel for $34.65 million in September 2022 and began the renovations shortly thereafter. The renovations include upgrades to the lobby, guest rooms, event space, pool bar and the rooftop lounge, along with an upscale full-service restaurant, Castille. The property is Sherman Associates’ first hotel in Florida according to the company’s website. The first new boutique hotel to be built in St. Pete Beach in decades, The Hotel Zamora is a white-washed Mediterranean palace with breathtaking architecture anchored in a bygone era. Inspired by its namesake Spanish province, the hotel’s striking Romanesque façade is the framework for expansive luxury suites overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. Stylish dining and laid-back leisure have become the new norm in Florida’s fashionable Tampa Bay. The 72-room, 67,692 square-foot hotel features a 360-rooftop entertainment area, dining, whirlpool spa and pool along with a five-slip marina with paddleboard and kayak rentals.
