Striking Proposal for Parking Lot at Howard University
A development is in planning for a new Howard University Campus building. The striking design will be augmented by the proposal to convert a two-block portion of W St. from Georgia to 9th St NW into a 25-foot-wide pedestrian plaza that could be used for public events. The 10 story structure is still in early conception, but will feature ground-floor retail space. Construction could optimistically begin late next year.
