Structural Framing Continues for The Smith South End

Structural framing is quickly moving forward for the first new building within The Smith in the South End. Formerly The Harrison/Albany block, this project will feature a total of 650 apartments along with 80,000 square feet of office space and 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Existing buildings at 575 Albany Street and 660 Harrison Avenue are being renovated as part of the development and will contain office, medical and retail space along with 50 apartments. A one-acre park will bisect the development allowing for a better pedestrian pathway through this section of the neighborhood.
