Structure in Place for UMass New Worcester Dining Commons
UMass Amherst's new Worcester Dining Commons is taking shape with exterior work nearly complete and windows being installed. The 87,000 square foot building will feature a ground-floor retail food café, a commercial bakery, and a restaurant space. A “Neighborhood Center” of student spaces is also planned including lounges, meeting rooms, a fitness center, a contemplative space, and music practice rooms. The project is scheduled for completion for the Fall, 2020 semester.
