The Algonquin Club Acquired for $17.5 Million
Hexagon Properties has acquired the property at 217 Commonwealth Ave in Boston, MA, and home to The Algonquin Club for $17.5 million.
The goal of the sale is to invest in improvements for the club and to get it up to speed with other private social clubs in the area. Hexagon Properties founder, Sandra Edgerley, says she plans to turn the club into a “premier destination to gather among an innovative, diverse, multigenerational membership.”
The building features a 4-story, 36,370 square foot building that sits on a .23-acre parcel.
