Trio Newton Attracts New Dining and Retail Options
MARK Development announced the arrival of two new tenants to anchor commercial space at Trio Newton. The Barn Family Shoe Store - a Boston staple - occupies an 8,500 square foot space and is now open after the move was announced a year ago. This comes a week after Chef Douglass Williams announced his high-end Italian restaurant, MIDA, will open a second location in Trio Newton.
Scheduled to open in the spring of 2021, MIDA will bring signature Italian pasta dishes currently offered in their South End location to Newton.
Trio Newton contains 140 residential units with 39,745 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Retail locations are set along a pedestrian walkway with outdoor seating and plantings.
