The Catholic University of America Breaks Ground on New School of Nursing
Last week, the Clark team joined members of The Catholic University of America community to ceremoniously break ground on the future home of the Conway School of Nursing, a state-of-the-art facility that will help prepare the future generation of nurses with the education and experience necessary to nursing students to improve health outcomes and make an impact on the world.
Designed by Ayers Saint Gross and Robert A.M. Stern Architects, the new 102,000-square-foot gothic-style building will double the space available for the school and include modern simulation suites, a virtual reality studio, flexible classrooms, seminar rooms, and anatomy and physiology labs.
“We [Clark] are so proud to be trusted to help turn this vision of the nursing school and science building into a reality," said Robby Moser, CEO of Clark Construction. "I cannot think of a more noble charge than helping to build a structure that will enhance the education and training of individuals who play such a critical role in the health of our communities."
