The Rink at MarketStreet Lynnfield Opens Monday, November 14th
The return of The Rink at MarketStreet Lynnfield is always a welcome sign that both the holiday season and outdoor winter fun are just around the corner. Considered as one of the North Shore region’s most beloved outdoor winter destinations and traditions, The Rink will open for its ninth season at MarketStreet Lynnfield on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 3:00pm.
Ice skaters and guests alike will once again be treated to a spectacle of twinkling lights at MarketStreet Lynnfield as they illuminate the ice and various areas of the property while a rotating playlist of musical hits and seasonal favorites will get skaters and shoppers moving and grooving. Surrounding the perimeter of The Rink are several cast iron chimenea gas fire pits and benches, giving guests a place to relax, cozy up, and enjoy time outdoors with loved ones. The Warming Tent, just steps from the ice, houses skate rentals and keeps both spectators and skaters toasty even on the chilliest of days. Open from November 14 through February 26, The Rink is conveniently located on The Green (near lululemon, J.Crew and JP Licks), the heart of MarketStreeet Lynnfield’s community events and gatherings.
In celebration of The Rink’s opening day on Monday, November 14, all children 14 and under who purchase admission for ice skating from 3pm – 7pm on November 14 will receive a voucher for a free kids meal from MarketStreet Lynnfield’s exciting new fast-casual restaurant, Chicken & The Pig, as well as a MarketStreet Lynnfield winter hat and a free chance to enter a raffle for a $500 holiday shopping spree!
New this year at The Rink are monthly themed weekday skates for kids including themes such as Superheroes, Pirates, and a Santa Skate. Each skater will receive a special accessory for their skates tied to that weekend’s particular theme, adding even more festive fun to this year’s Rink.
