The RIU Plaza Hotel Chicago Receives Approval
The Chicago City Council gives their full approval for the 28-story hotel and gives the green light to start planning construction. This addition will add 388 hotel rooms, with the base of the hotel having a retail space that is aimed to be used by a cafe. Designed by Lucien Lagrange Studio and developed by The Prime Group Inc. There will be no available parking onsite at this hotel due to the restricted lot size. The developer is planning to break ground before the end of the summer.
