Three-building Marlborough office park sells for $8.55 million
Haynes Management has sold Mount Royal Office Park, a three-building, 160,000-square-foot office park located at the junction of Interstate 495 and Route 20 in Marlborough, to CB Equities of New England for $8.55 million. R.W. Holmes Realty brokered the sale, which amounts to approximately $53 per square foot, on behalf of longtime owner Haynes Management. Digital Federal Credit Union provided $9.1 million in financing toward CB Equities’ acquisition.
CB Equities plans renovations to the office park including exterior facade and common area improvements, new signage, a new fitness center with showers and a club room. Renovations are expected to begin this month, with completion expected within six months. CB Equities will also rebrand the park Knowledge Park @ Marlborough. CB Equities is also proposing to construct a five-story building featuring 42 apartment residences at 944-946 Saratoga Street in East Boston.
