Three-Phase, 2M+SF Transformative Project Planned in Sullivan Square

A Letter of Intent has been filed for the first phase of a transformative project planned in Sullivan Square. In total the 3-phase mixed-use development would include 851 housing units, 200 hotel rooms, 1,749,000 square feet of office/lab space, and 5.28 acres of new open public space.

“During the past year and a half, we have put a tremendous amount of work into understanding the area, understanding the market dynamics and most importantly understanding what the community wants,” said Jim Grossmann, Founder and Partner of RISE Together, the project's developer. “We look forward to the continued conversations with residents and elected officials.”

“RISE Together is thrilled to be part of the Charlestown neighborhood,” said Herby Duverné, founder and CEO of RISE Together. “Our approach is wholistic and inclusive, and we believe we can deliver a project of which the community will be proud.”

Plans for this initial phase call for approximately 160 housing units and 906,000 square feet of office/lab space on a series of parcels along Roland & Cambridge Streets.
