TIAA acquires two key Downtown Crossing office properties from Synergy Investments for $75M total Update 12/09/16

Synergy Investments has sold two key Downtown Crossing office properties containing approximately 160,000 total square feet to real estate investor TIAA for a total of $75 million. The buildings include 99 Chauncy Street, an 11-story 98,450 square foot building acquired by TIAA for $46 million, and 101 Summer Street, a five-story 60,472 square foot building also known as the Church Green Building acquired by TIAA for $29 million. Synergy acquired 99 Chauncy Street in August 2011 for $13 million and 101 Summer Street in May 2011 for $11.5 million. Learn more about 99 Chauncy Street here and 101 Summer Street here. Headquartered in New York City, TIAA acquired six office buildings in Fort Point totaling 407,458 square feet for $224 million in April 2016.
