Tishman Speyer Acquires Friendship Heights Mall, Planning Multifamily Development
Tishman Speyer has acquired the 294,000 square foot Mazza Gallerie in Friendship Heights from Annaly Commercial Real Estate Group Inc. The developer is planning to build new rental housing on the site while retaining substantial retail space and a large parking garage underground. The 83,000 square foot site sits atop a Metro Station in northwest DC.
