Topping Out Celebrated at 1733 16th St. NW

Harvey-Cleary Builders has hosted a topping-out celebration for the Scottish Rite Apartments at 1733 16th St. NW.

The 158-unit luxury apartment building in DC's 16th Street Historic District.

The apartments take their name from the adjacent Scottish Rite Masonic Temple, with whom the developer Perseus TDC has a ground lease for the project, which features an underground parking garage that will serve the tenants and temple patrons.

SK&A Structural Engineers, Hickok Cole Architects and Harvey Cleary collaborated on the adaptive reuse of the historic carriage house, which will also be transformed into apartments.

The project features some English basement-style apartments and a private courtyard garden.
