Tower Crane Comes Down at VCU Steam Facility
Hourigan has disassembled the tower crane at the VCU STEM facility. Constructed on the site of the former Franklin Street Gym, the five-story, 100,000 SF+ facility concentrates undergrad-level innovative teaching laboratories for chemistry, biology and physics, student study spaces; innovative spaces for applied mathematics instruction; interactive spaces for psychology; and exhibit spaces for anthropology. VCU expects to welcome students to the building in Fall 2023.
