16 Dupont Street Update 05/12/23

Tower Crane Installed Ahead of 41-Story Greenpoint Tower

Bay Crane has shared photos of a recent tower crane installation at 16 Dupont Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The site will soon play host to a 41-story residential tower, coming as part of the Greenpoint Landing master plan. The arrival of this crane suggests that foundation work has now concluded and that initial superstructure pours are just around the corner.

Jointly developed by Park Tower Group and The Rockefeller Group, the tower is set to contain  apartment units. Plans also call for square feet of commercial space (likely ground floor retail), and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.

Designed by Gerner, Kronick + Valcarcel Architects, 16 Dupont Street will stand feet tall and total square feet.

The project site spans square feet and sits just across the street from the recently completed, dual-tower development, known as Eagle + West. General contractor, Monadnock Construction, is leading the construction efforts and work is estimated to finish by the spring of 2025.
