Translate Bio Leases 138K SF in Waltham
Translate Bio, the Lexington-based clinical-stage mRNA therapeutics company, has signed a 138,000 SF 10-year lease at 200 West Street in Waltham, with the company paying property owner Boston Properties $5,700,000 for the first year of the lease and $8,000,000 the next.
Boston Properties is currently redeveloping 200 West Street into lab space with expected completion in 2021.
Translate Bio entered a license agreement with Sanofi Pasteur to develop an mRNA vaccine for COVID-19 in June of 2020.
