UIC Computer Design, Research and Learning Center Nears Completion 

The construction of the University of Illinois Chicago's new Computer Design, Research and Learning Center is nearing completion. The addition to the University's new computer science department is expected to open this year and the 135,000 square foot facility will serve more than 2,000 students, doubling its current capacity. The building will contain 16,000 square feet of classroom space, over 20 new labs, and a geothermal farm to support sustainable heating and A/C.
