Under-Construction BEAT Sold for $362 Million
Nordblom Company has sold The BEAT in Dorchester to a Downtown Boston-based developer for $362,500,000. A repositioning of the 16.6-acre former Boston Globe headquarters at 135 Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester, the existing three-story office and industrial building will be retained and retrofitted into a 695,000-square-foot modern hub for creative office, laboratory and retail uses named The BEAT. The building will also feature 300,000 SF of life science manufacturing space.
