Union Market Mixed-Use Tower Begins to Go Vertical
440 Penn at Union Market in DC is progressing quickly as concrete has been poured to grade and the structure looks to advance through the typical floors. Both wet and dry utilities are nearing completion in a heavily congested area, while always maintaining to leave lanes open for flow of traffic. The MEP team plans to start rough-in at the garage levels this coming month and façade critical releases are complete for a timely start on building envelope. The upcoming 13-story tower will include just over 300 units along with ground-floor retail.
