Unit Mix & Count Adjusted for Eads St. Affordable Housing Development
The development behind the 3450 Eads Street NE affordable housing project has filed updated plans for the project. New plans call for the removal of the 5th floor of the building along with a reduction in unit count from 70 to 49. Original plans called for all 1 bedroom homes set aside for seniors while new plans would include a mix of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units with an expanded range of affordability to include units set aside at 60% MFI and 80% MFI as well as at 30% MFI and 50% MFI.
