Updated Designs Presented for MIT Dorm
The development team behind MIT's proposed dorm at 269-301 Vassar Street has presented updated plans for the project. Proposed design changes include brightening of the overall coloration, increased façade articulation, variation, and transparency along with metal cladding to be used on the towers. The landscape and streetscape design have been further refined to improve wayfinding clarity, public access, mobility, and programming potential for all publicly accessible exterior spaces on the project. The two-building project would include around 690 graduate student housing beds.
